Dear UCAM Members and UC Alumni,
We are pleased to inform all of you that as of now, the confirmed bookings for the “All New Zealand Universities Alumni Networking Dinner ” on Saturday, 25 July 2009 at the New Zealand Residence at No. 15, Jalan Langgak Golf, 55000 Kuala Lumpur are just over 50.
The cost is RM70.00 per attendee, which includes the meals and a free flow of wines, beer and soft drinks.
Please note an important matter that the High Commissioner has indicated that it is not appropriate to have a table collecting payments at the front of the New Zealand Residence, and therefore, we are unable to accommodate any requests “to pay on the night”!
There is plenty of time for you all to write a cheque and post in to UCAM (and if you want to, you are welcome to fax in your copy of your cheque to indicate you have posted the cheque), or you can bank in directly into the UCAM Bank Account No: 001-00-30169-2 is with the Hong Leong Bank Berhad. Almost all organizations adopt this policy of only confirming reservations upon receipt of payments.
The Reservation Form is clear, that seats can only be allocated upon receipt of payments, and we would like to suggest that you emphasize in any covering emails that you may be sending to your Alumni friends, that you also stress that there are only seats available, and that the policy is that the seats can only be confirmed upon receipt of payments, before the event. To make it easy for us to prepare name tags for everybody to wear on the night, please provide your full name.
