THE 16TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NEW ZEALAND ANNUAL DINNER & DANCE ON SATURDAY, 16 AUGUST 2008
It is my pleasure being the outgoing Chairman, to write to you all about the 16th Anniversary of the New Zealand Annual Dinner and Dance, which will be held on Saturday, 16th August 2008 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Elizabeth Marvelly who is a very young and beautiful performer with rare talent, is New Zealand’s newest singing sensation, and she will be our entertainer for the evening.
Under the astute guidance of Gary Barlett MBE and NZEA Ltd, whose stable of discoveries include the famous Hayley Westenra, Yulia Townsend, Ben Morrison and Will Martin, Elizabeth was presented to EMI (UK) President of Classics and Jazz, Costa Pilavachi, as the face and voice of the future, in cross-over classical-pop.
Gary Barlett’s comments about Elizabeth, are remarkable – “Elizabeth is without doubt my greatest discovery in 50 years of music; She’s glamorous with the voice of an angel !!”
The New Zealand Annual Dinner and Dance has established itself on the Kuala Lumpur Calendar, as having the most popular entertainment programmes over the past 6 years, with attendances increasing from 200+ in 2002, to 619 in 2007, and both the Shangri-La and the MNZBC are confident that we will “Sell-Out” at 800 at this year’s event.
DON'T WAIT ..... GET SOME FRIENDS TOGETHER ..... SEND IN YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR A FANTASTIC NIGHT, AS THE BAR WILL REMAIN OPEN, AND DANCING WILL CONTINUE UNTIL 0200 AM !
For further information and registration, kindly refer to the attached Flyer, and if you are unable to open and print the Flyer and the Reservation Form, then please email us, or call us, and we will post and fax the Flyer and Reservation Form to you.
My kind regards,
RICHARD TANKERSLEY Chairman MALAYSIA NEW ZEALAND BUSINESS COUNCIL Tel: 03 2144 2422 Fax: 03 2144 1422 Mobile: 60 19 221 2222
