Dear UC Members

I am writing to you as the President of the University of Canterbury Alumni, Malaysia (UCAM), as well as the Chairman of the Malaysia New Zealand Business Council (MNZBC).

The MNZBC will be celebrating its 13th Annual Dinner and Dance this year, on Friday, 23 September 2005, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

This year, the MNZBC have been putting in a lot of effort in making this year’s Annual Dinner and Dance, a memorable one for its members and guests.

The Main Performer for the night is Tim Beveridge, who is considered as One of the Top Voices in the World, and who has been selected as one of the six finalists (out of more than 100 performers from all over the world) in the “BBC Voice of Musical Theatre” in Cardiff, a competition for the best musical theatre voice in the world.

Tim Beveridge will be backed by the impressive Orchestra Kuala Lumpur at the MNZBC Annual Dinner and Dance.

Light & Easy has already commenced playing Tim’s songs on their daily programmes.

Opening Act will be by KAHURANGI, The Maori Dance Theatre of New Zealand. Kahurangi commenced performing in Malaysia in 2002 and has since returned annually by popular demand.

We do hope you can support the MNZBC by gathering up with some family members, friends, colleagues, associates, staff members, and attend the MNZBC’s Annual Dinner and Dance. It promises to be a memorable night!
