Alumni Association 13th Annual General Meeting (6.00pm, Thursday 25 May, UC Library)

This year’s AGM will feature a floor talk by Dr Gareth Cordery on “The Illustration of Charles Dickens’ Novels� and an exhibition of items from the University’s Rare Book Collection, including first editions of some of Dickens’ works. Mid-Winter Wellington Alumni Get-Together (5.30-7.30pm, Monday 12 June, The Wellington Club)

Join fellow Canterbury alumni for drinks and nibbles and a presentation by guest speaker Mr Richard Woods, Director of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service, who will speak about his time with the NZSIS over the past seven years. Tickets $25pp. RSVP to the Alumni Office by 7 June.;
