Alumni Association 13th Annual General Meeting (6.00pm, Thursday 25 May, UC Library)

This year’s AGM will feature a floor talk by Dr Gareth Cordery on “The Illustration of Charles Dickens’ Novels” and an exhibition of items from the University’s Rare Book Collection, including first editions of some of Dickens’ works. Mid-Winter Wellington Alumni Get-Together (5.30-7.30pm, Monday 12 June, The Wellington Club)

Join fellow Canterbury alumni for drinks and nibbles and a presentation by guest speaker Mr Richard Woods, Director of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service, who will speak about his time with the NZSIS over the past seven years. Tickets $25pp. RSVP to the Alumni Office by 7 June.;
