Dear University of Canterbury Alumni,

We are delighted to bring you further information on the 2006 New Zealand Alumni Convention (NZAC) to be held in Wellington, NZ, from 5-8 November.

To register, and for regular updates on the programme, please see www.wellington.govt.nz/rd/alumni.

We would also like to inform you of a number of activities the University of Canterbury has planned to coincide with this Convention (note: following activities are held in Christchurch):

§ Alumni Cocktail Function at the University Staff Club, which is located in the beautiful historic Ilam Homestead opposite the campus (Thurs 9 Nov).

§ Alumni Golf Tournament at Clearwater Golf Club, followed by after-match function and prize-giving (Fri 10 Nov).

§ Engineering Reunion Dinner for Graduates of Pre-1981 (11 Nov).

§ University of Canterbury Dinner at the Pagoda Court Restaurant (11 Nov).

§ Campus tours (Thurs & Fri 9-10 Nov) – visit your favourite old haunts and see highlights of recent campus developments.

We warmly invite you to extend your trip southward at the close of the Convention festivities to participate in these activities and to enjoy a reconnection with your alma mater.

To assist with planning, we are seeking early indications from alumni of what they would like to attend. An official registration form will be sent out shortly with the NZAC Registration Form, but in the meantime we would be very grateful if you could complete the attached Reply Form.

Please also forward this email onto other Canterbury alumni you know.

Thank you & best wishes,

From the Alumni Office
